I started working with James at the start of July this year after deciding I would not be returning to a gym due to the Covid-19 outbreak.


I can honestly say I think it was one of the best decisions that I have made. I found James through Facebook recommendations and he reached out to me to let me know he would be available for a chat if I had any questions.


I had little experience with working with a professional personal trainer and was unsure as to what to expect. James took the time to understand each of my goals as well as the kind of time frame I wanted to achieve them in and explained that he would be able to adapt my training to the equipment I had access to. He exceeded my expectations during the whole process and I am so grateful to have found him.


Before working with James, I had just finished a course of osteopathy treatment for my back so was looking for someone who could help me safely rehabilitate in the gym. Prior to training, I had days where I couldn't even get out of bed because the pain was so bad. I can honestly say that since working with James, my back pain has almost completely gone and I feel healthier and stronger than ever.

James helped me to understand my body as well as improving my relationship with food, which had been quite an issue for me beforehand. His nutritional advice is outstanding and he has offered 24/7 support with my worries and questions regarding food and recipes.


I am so grateful to have been working with James during the outbreak, and I am so happy with the progress that he has helped me make both mentally and physically. I'm looking forward to continuing my work with him and seeing what progress can be made.
